This is one of my favourite pieces. Find out why below:
The negative was beautiful and proper, but the printing went awry, so the paper was rushed through the chemical baths, giving a grungy mess of a print. In case you're wondering, the original subject was a pair of flats, worn by Kelsey Little.
This print was scanned and Christopher McFadden and myself applied turn-based editing to it until we were pleased with the outcome.
It is a tribute to the duality of our mindsets and worldviews. There is considerable common ground, but with a unique spin in seemingly opposing but not mutually exclusive directions of the spectrum.
